How to cook or make Yam Stem Stir Fry Chena

Ingredients:
(1) Yam stem – 1
(2) Green gram – 100 grams
(3) Grated coconut – 1 cup
Green chilly – 4
Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
Garlic – 5 pellets
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(4) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
Red chilly – 2
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Yam Stem Stir Fry Chena Thandu Thoran
Wash the yam stem and chop into small pieces. Cook the green gram and
keep aside. Smash ingredients under (3). Heat coconut oil in a vessel
and splutter mustard seeds in that. Roast curry leaves and pieces of red
chilly in that oil. Then add chopped pieces of yam stem and cooked green
gram. Add salt and stir. Add the smashed ingredients at the center of
vessel. Close the vessel with a lid and heat. After the yam stem pieces
are cooked, open the vessel, stir well and serve.
