How to cook or make Yam Erissery Chena Erissery
Yam Erissery Chena Erissery Ingredients:
(1) Yam – 350 grams
(2) Cow gram – 100 grams
Coconut – half part
(3) Pepper powder – 2 tea spoon
Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(4) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
Red chilly – 2
Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Yam Erissery Chena Erissery
Cook the cow gram. When half cooked, add pieces of yam and salt. Grind
grated coconut and ingredients under (3) together into a fine paste. Add
the paste into the cooked pieces. Pour a little water also and boil. Add
roasted mustard seeds and serve hot.
