How to cook or make Vegetable Sambar Malakkary

Vegetable Sambar Malakkary Sambar Ingredients:
(1) Cucumber – 1 piece
(2) Drumstick – 2
(3) Brinjal – 2
(4) Ladies finger – 6
(5) Broad beans – 12
(6) Colocasia – 5
(7) Snake gourd – 1 piece
(8) Small onion- 50 grams
(9) Green chilly – 5
(10) Toor dhal – 50 grams
(11) Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
(12) Asafoetida – 1 piece
(13) Coriander seed powder – 1 tea spoon
(14) Tamarind – 1 small tea spoon
(15) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(16) Salt – adjust to taste
(17) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
(18) Curry leaves – a few
(19) Mustard seeds – ¼ tea spoon
(20) Tomato – 2
Procedure for cooking Vegetable Sambar Malakkary Sambar
Chop the vegetables (1) to (7) into pieces. Roast chilly powder, coriander
seed powder and turmeric powder, grind them together and mix them in a
little water. Heat water in a vessel and when it boils vigorously add
toor dhal into that. Simultaneously add onion, torn green chilly and broad
beans. When the dhal is cooked add all vegetables except ladies finger.
When they are half cooked, add ladies finger also. When they are under
cooking add tamarind extract and salt, stir and boil. Then add the ground
ingredients. Boil well. Heat coconut oil in a pan and add mustard seeds
to splutter. Also roast chilly and curry leaves in that and pour them
into the boiling sambar. Chop tomato into pieces and add into the sambar.
