How to cook or make Tomato Curry Thakkali
Curry
Ingredients:
(1) Ripe Tomato =- 3
(2) Green chilly – 4
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Grated coconut – ½ cup
(5) Cumin seed – 1 tea spoon
(6) Small onion – 3
(7) Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
(8) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
(9) Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
(10) Curry leaves – a few
(11) Small onion chopped into round pieces – 1 tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Tomato Curry Thakkali Curry
Chop tomato into small pieces. Tear the end of green chilly. Take the
tomato pieces, green chilly salt and water and boil. Crush the cooked
tomato. Grind the coconut, cumin seed, turmeric powder, green chilly and
small onion together and add the paste into the tomato curry. Stop heating
when it becomes hot. Take the curry from the stove. Heat oil in a pan
and add mustard seeds to splutter. Roast chopped pieces of onion and curry
leaves in that oil and pour them over the tomato curry.
