Tomato Aviyal Thakkali Aviyal Ingredients:
(1) Green tomato – 250 grams
(2) Coconut – 1 ½ cup
Green chilly – 4
Cumin seed – 1 pinch
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Small onion – 2
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Tomato Aviyal Thakkali Aviyal
Chop the tomato into small pieces. Grind ingredients under (2) together.
Mix tomato pieces with a little chilly powder, torn green chilly, salt
and water and boil. Then mix the ground paste of ingredients with a little
water and pour that on the tomato pieces, stir and boil. Pour a little
coconut oil, add a few curry leaves, stir and take the curry from the
stove.
