How to cook or make Thick Kaalan Kurukku

Thick Kaalan Kurukku Kaalan Ingredients:
(1) Yam – 500 grams
(2) Raw banana – 500 grams
(3) Curd – 500 grams
(4) Turmeric powder – 1 ½ tea spoon
(5) Coconut – 1
(6) Pepper powder – 50 grams
(7) Green chilly – 2
(8) Cumin seed – 2 tea spoon
(9) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Thick Kaalan Kurukku Kaalan
Cut yam and banana into big pieces. Pour water and boil them. When half
cooked, add salt, turmeric powder, and pepper powder and stir. Then pour
the thick curd little by little. Keep on stirring while pouring the curd.
Grind coconut, green chilly and cumin seed together and make a ball with
the paste and add that ball into the curry and stir well. Heat oil in
a pan and roast mustard seeds, fenugreek, red chilly and curry leaves
and pour them into the kaalan.
