How to cook or make Tapioca with Sardines
(Kappa with Mathi)
(1) Tapioca – 1 kg
(2) Sardines – 20 Nos.
(3) Chilly powder – 2 tea spoons
(4) Coriander seeds powder – 1 tea spoon
(5) Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
(6) Green chilly – 5
(7) Tamarind – equal to size of a lemon
(8) Salt – adjust to taste
(9) Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Tapioca with Sardines (Kappa with Mathi)
Cut tapioca into small pieces, add salt and water and boil. Mix chilly
powder, turmeric powder and coriander seeds powder together in water in
another vessel and boil. On boiling, add the pieces of fish into that.
Then add green chilly, curry leaves, tamarind juice and salt. When the
pieces of fish are being cooked, add the tapioca pieces into that and
stir well. Serve when a little hot.
