How to cook or make Sweet Potato Curry Madhura
Kizhangu Curry
Ingredients:
(1) Sweet potato – 3
(2) Big onion – 2
(3) Cumin seed – ½ tea spoon
(4) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(5) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(6) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(7) Salt – adjust to taste
(8) Curry leaves – a few
(9) Garlic – 4 pellets
(10) Oil – 1 table spoon
Procedure for cooking Sweet Potato Curry Madhura Kizhangu Curry
Cut the sweet potato into small pieces. Chop big onion into long pieces.
Heat oil in a pan and roast mustard seeds, cumin seeds and curry leaves
and stir. After the mustard seeds splutter and onion pieces become brown
color, add the pieces of sweet potato, turmeric powder, chilly powder
and salt. Add sufficient water and then boil. After cooking the potato,
when it becomes thick, stop heating and remove from the stove.
