Spinach Leaves Stir Fry (Cheerayila Thoran) Ingredients:
(1) Spinach leaves – a handful
(2) Coconut – ¼ cup
Green chilly – 2
Garlic – 2 pellets
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Coconut oil – ½ tea spoon
Red chilly – 2
Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Spinach Leaves Stir Fry (Cheerayila Thoran)
Wash the spinach leaves, remove the sand and chop into tiny pieces. Smash
ingredients under (2). Heat oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds
in that. Add pieces of red chilly also into the oil. Then add the chopped
spinach leaves into that, add salt and stir, keep the smashed ingredients
at the center, close the vessel and cook in steam. Then open the vessel
and stir well.
Cooked small pieces of jack fruit seeds also may be added into this curry.
