How to cook or make Spinach Dhal Curry (Cheera
Parippu Curry)
Ingredients:
(1) Green spinach – 1 kg
(2) Dhal – 1 kg
(3) Salt, Oil – as required
(4) Cumin seed – 1 table spoon
Green chilly – 6
Red chilly – 6
Pudina leaves – a little
Garlic – 8 pellets
Chopped ginger – 2 table spoon
Procedure for cooking Spinach Dhal Curry (Cheera Parippu Curry)
Wash the dhal, soak in water, add salt and then boil. Wash the spinach
leaves and keep them in boiled water for 5 minutes. Chop the leaves into
small pieces and mix with the dhal. Heat oil in a pan and roast all the
ingredients under (4) in that oil and then pour them into the spinach
curry and stir well.
