(1) Spinach chopped into very small bits – 2 cups
(2) Grated coconut – 1 cup
(3) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(4) Cumin seed powder – ½ tea spoon
(5) Big onion – 1
(6) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Spinach Curry (Cheera Curry)
Add water into the spinach leaves and boil till it becomes a thick liquid.
Add long pieces of big onion, chilly powder, cumin seed powder and salt
and boil further. When the onion pieces are cooked, pour coconut milk,
stir well and when it is hot, take out of the stove.
