How to cook or make Roast Curry Poricha
Curry
Ingredients:
(1) Black eye gram – 500 grams
(2) Yam – 100 grams
(3) Raw banana – 1
(4) Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
(5) Pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
(6) Asafoetida powder – 1 pinch
(7) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(8) Oil – 2 table spoon
(9) Salt – adjust to taste
(10) Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
(11) Grated coconut – 1 cup
(12) Curry leaves – a few
(13) Tamarind – equal to size of a lemon
Procedure for cooking Roast Curry Poricha Curry
Soak the black eye gram for 3 hours in water. Chop yam and banana into
small pieces. Mix with black eye gram, turmeric powder, Salt, and water
and boil. Boil the cooked items once again in tamarind water. On boiling
add pepper powder, chilly powder and asafetida powder. Then stop heating
and remove the vessel from the stove. Roast mustard seeds, coconut and
curry leaves in heated oil and add them into the curry and stir.
