Procedure for cooking Raw Plantain Stir Fry Vazhakka Thoran
Remove the skin of the plantain and chop into small pieces. To remove
the sticky liquid, keep the pieces dipped in rice water for some time.
Then take them out, wash, add salt and water and cook. Smash all ingredients
under (2). Heat coconut oil in a vessel and splutter mustard seeds in
that. Roast curry leaves and pieces of red chilly in that oil. Then add
cooked pieces of plantain and keep the smashed ingredients at the center
of the vessel. Then close the vessel with a lid and heat that. After a
few minutes open the vessel and stir well.
