How to cook or make Raw Jack Fruit Stir
Fry Chakka Thoran
Ingredients:
(1) Raw Jack fruit – 1 medium size piece
(2) Small onion – 100 grams
(3) Jack fruit seeds – 30 grams
(4) Coconut – half part
Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
Garam masala powder – ½ tea spoon
Coriander seed powder – ¼ tea spoon
Garlic – 2 pellets
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
(6) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Red chilly – 2
Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Raw Jack Fruit Stir Fry Chakka Thoran
Chop the raw jack fruit, small onion and jack fruit seeds into small pieces.
Smash together the ingredients under (4). Heat oil in a pan and add mustard
seeds into that. When they splutter add pieces of red chilly and curry
leaves and heat them. Then add the chopped pieces of raw jack fruit, small
onion and jack fruit seeds. Now add salt and water and stir. Finally add
the smashed ingredients, close the vessel with a lid and continue to heat.
When the pieces are well cooked stop heating, stir well and take out.
