How to cook or make Prawns – Raw Banana
Curry (Chemmeen Nendrakkai Mulakooshyam)
Ingredients:
(1) Prawns – 250 grams
(2) Raw banana – 2
(3) Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(4) Salt – adjust to taste
(5) Coconut – ½ cup
(6) Small onion – 100 grams
(7) Curry leaves – a little
(8) Red chilly – 2
(9) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(10) Oil – ½ tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Prawns – Raw Banana Curry (Chemmeen Nendrakkai
Mulakooshyam)
Wash the prawns and add turmeric powder, salt and cook that. Chop the
banana into small pieces, add water and boil. Mix the cooked prawns with
the cooked banana, smashed small onion, Curry leaves and salt. Grind the
coconut with one red chilly and add the paste into the curry and boil.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds in that. Roast pieces of
red chilly in the same oil and pour them into the curry and stir.
