Potato Stir Fry Urulakizhangu Thoran Ingredients:
(1) Potato – 250 grams
(2) Coconut – half part
Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Garlic – 2 pellets
Cumin seed – 1 pinch
(3) Big onion – 1
(4) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Curry leaves – a few
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Potato Stir Fry Urulakizhangu Thoran
Peel the potato and big onion, wash them and chop into small pieces. Smash
ingredients under (2). Heat oil in a pan. Add mustard seeds into that
to splutter. Add curry leaves also. Then add the chopped pieces of potato
and big onion. Add salt and a little water. Add the smashed ingredients
at the center of the vessel. Close the vessel with a lid and boil. After
the potato is cooked, open the vessel and without crushing the pieces,
stir well.
