How to cook or make Pineapple Rasam Kaithachakka
Rasam
Ingredients:
(1) Pine apple – ¼ kg
(2) Toor dhal – 1 liter
(3) Pepper powder – 1 tea spoon
(4) Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
(5) Chilly powder – 1 table spoon
(6) Coriander seed powder – 1 table spoon
(7) Garlic – 6 pellets (smashed)
(8) Asafoetida – 1 pinch
(9) Tamarind – 50 grams
(10) Salt – adjust to taste
(11) Coriander leaves – a little
Procedure for cooking Pineapple Rasam Kaithachakka Rasam
Chop pineapple into small pieces. Add water to the dhal and boil. After
the dhal is cooked, add all the powder ingredients into the same water
along with smashed garlic, asafetida, tamarind juice, salt and the pineapple
pieces. Splutter mustard seeds and add into the curry along with coriander
leaves.
