How to cook or make Pickle Rice (Achar Saadam)
Ingredients:
(1) Basmati rice – 2 cups
(2) Curd – 1 cup
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Lemon pickle – 2 tea spoon
(5) Oil – 1 table spoon
(6) Red chilly – 3
(5) Mustard seeds – ¼ tea spoon
Procedure Pickle Rice (Achar Saadam)
Cook the rice. Add curd and salt, stir well. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard
seeds to splutter, roast pieces of red chilly in that and switch off the
burner. On cooling add cooked rice into that and stir well. Take out lemon
slices from the lemon pickle and chop them into very small pieces. Add
the lemon pieces into the rice and mix thoroughly. Pickle rice is ready
to serve.
