Kerala Tamil Mutton Curry Aattirachi Ularthiyathu recipe

How to cook or make Mutton Curry Aattirachi Ularthiyathu

Ingredients:
(1) Mutton – ½ kg
Pepper powder – ¼ tea spoon
Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
Coriander seed powder – 1 tea spoon
Garlic – 6 pellets
Clove – 2
Cinnamon – 1 piece
Fennel – ½ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
(3) Potato – 2
(4) Vinegar – 1 tea spoon
(5) Ginger – ½ tea spoon
(6) Boiled water – 2 cup
(7) Oil – 1 tea spoon
(8) Chopped garlic – 1 tea spoon
(9) Salt – adjust to taste
(10) Small onion chopped – 3 tea spoon
(11) Curry leaves – a few


Procedure for cooking Mutton Curry Aattirachi Ularthiyathu


Cut mutton into medium size pieces. Apply ground mixture of ingredients under (2), chopped ginger and vinegar on the mutton pieces. After one hour pour water on the mutton and boil. When the mutton is cooked and becomes soft, add pieces of potato and garlic. When potato is cooked and soup becomes thick, stop heating and take the curry out of the stove. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. Roast the small onion pieces in that. Then roast the curry leaves also and when it becomes brown add the mutton pieces into the pan, stir well and take out.
