How to cook or make Mussels Fry (Kakka Irachi
(1) Mussels – ¼ kg
(2) Small onion – ½ cup
(3) Pepper powder – ¼ tea spoon
(4) Garlic – 3 pellets
(5) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(6) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(7) Salt – adjust to taste
(8) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
(9) Mustard seeds – a little
(10) Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Mussels Fry (Kakka Irachi Varuthathu)
Clean the mussels and boil with turmeric powder, salt and tamarind juice.
Grind small onion, chilly powder, pepper powder, and garlic together.
Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds in that. Then add curry leaves
and the ground mixture of ingredients in that and stir well. Finally add
the cooked mussels, stir thoroughly and take out.
