How to cook or make Masala Ladies Finger
(Masala Vendakka)
Ingredients:
(1) Tender ladies finger – 250 grams
(2) Red chilly – 5
(3) Fennel – 1 tea spoon
(4) Fenugreek – 1 tea spoon
(5) Coriander seeds – 2 table spoon
(6) Tamarind – equal to size of a lemon
(7) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Masala Ladies Finger (Masala Vendakka)
Wash the ladies finger and cut them vertically without detaching the portion
at both ends. Heat chilly, coriander seeds, fennel and fenugreek and grind
them together. Grind the tamarind also. Heat oil in a pan and add the
ladies finger in that and stir. When they get semi roasted, add the masala
paste, salt and water and boil. Close the pan with a lid.
