How to cook or make Ladies Finger Curry
Vendakka Curry
Ingredients:
(1) Ladies finger – 250 grams
(2) Grated coconut – 1 ½ cup
(3) Green chilly – 4
(4) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(5) Big onion – 200 grams
(6) Mustard seeds – ¼ tea spoon
(7) Coconut oil – 3 table spoon
(8) Curry leaves – a few
(9) Curd – 2 table spoon
(10) Red chilly – 2
(11) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Ladies Finger Curry Vendakka Curry
Chop ladies finger and big onion into small pieces. Grind grated coconut,
green chilly and turmeric powder together into a fine paste. Heat oil
in a pan and add mustard seeds into that to splutter. Then add pieces
of red chilly and curry leaves. Add the chopped onion and ladies finger
into the pan and add salt also. Then roast the contents. Mix the coconut
green chilly paste in a little water and pour that into the curry and
then boil. After the pieces are cooked and the entire mixture starts becoming
thick add curd, stir well and take the pan out of the stove.
