Jack Fruit Erissery Chakka Erissery Ingredients:
(1) Raw jack fruit pellets – 25
(2) Coconut – 1
(3) Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
(4) Red chilly – 5
(5) Turmeric powder -1/2 tea spoon
(6) Salt – adjust to taste
(7) Oil – 2 table spoon
(8) Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
(9) Red chilly – 2
(10) Curry leaves – a little
Procedure for cooking Jack Fruit Erissery Chakka Erissery
Chop the jack fruit pellets into small pieces, mix with salt, water and
turmeric powder and cook them. Grind coconut, cumin seed and red chilly
together, add into the curry and boil. Heat oil in a pan, add mustard
seeds to splutter and add pieces of red chilly and curry leaves and roast
them and pour them into the jack fruit curry and stir.
