How to cook or make Horse Gram Rasam Muthira
Rasam
Ingredients:
(1) Horse gram – ½ cup
(2) Pepper powder – 1 tea spoon
Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Coriander seed powder – ½ tea spoon
Cumin seed powder – ½ tea spoon
Tamarind – equal to a lemon
Garlic – 6 pellets (smashed)
Salt – adjust to taste
(3) Oil – 1 tea spoon
(4) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
Curry leaves – a little
Procedure for making Horse Gram Rasam Muthira Rasam
Add water to the horse gram and cook. In the same water add all ingredients
under (2) and boil. Then take the cooked gram out. Add spluttered mustard
seeds and roasted curry leaves and stir.
