How to cook or make Green Tomato Prawns
Stir Fry (Pacha Thakkali Chemmeen Thoran)
Ingredients:
(1) Prawns – 1 cup
(2) Big onion chopped into small pieces – ¾ cup
(3) Green tomato chopped – 1 ½ cup
(4) Grated coconut – ½ cup
(5) Fennel – 1 pinch
(6) Chopped ginger – 2 tea spoon
(7) Green chilly – 5
(8) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(9) Oil – 1 table spoon
(10) Mustard seed – 1 tea spoon
(11) Red chilly – 3
(12) Salt – adjust to taste
(13) Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Green Tomato Prawns Stir Fry (Pacha Thakkali Chemmeen
Thoran)
Cook the prawns, big onion, ginger and tomato after adding salt. Smash
coconut, cumin seed, green chilly and turmeric and add to the prawns.
After cooking stir it well. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds
in that oil. Then add pieces of red chilly and curry leaves and roast
them. Then add the cooked prawns into the pan, heat and stir well. When
it becomes dry sop heating.
