How to cook or make Ghee Fish Roast (Ayala
Roast)
Ingredients:
(1) Ghee fish – 500 grams
(2) Garlic – 3 pellets
(3) Ginger – 1 piece
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
Chilly powder – 3 tea spoon
Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Tomato – 3
(5) Torn green chilly – 2
(6) Curry leaves – a few
(7) Oil – as required
Procedure for cooking Ghee Fish Roast (Ayala Roast)
Clean the ghee fish and draw lines on that. Grind ingredients under (2)
and (3) together and apply the paste on the fish. Keep them for an hour.
Then heat oil in a pan and fry the fish in that and take out. Heat the
remaining oil and add pieces of tomato, green chilly and curry leaves
and stir well. When they are also roasted, add the pieces of fish into
that and stir. The fish pieces should not be crushed.
