Kerala Tamil Fish Moli recipe

How to cook or make Fish Moli

(1) Pearl fish – ½ kg
(2) Coconut – 1
(3) Cashew nut paste – 2 table spoon
(4) Pepper – 1 tea spoon
Garlic – 4 pellets
Fennel – 1 tea spoon
Whipped egg – 1
Corn flour – 2 table spoon
Cumin seed – ½ tea spoon
(5) Cashew nut – 10 grams
Dry grapes – 20 grams
Cardamom – 2
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Pepper – 1 table spoon
(6) Big onion – 2
(7) Oil – 2 table spoon
(8) Small onion – 10
Ginger – 1 piece
Green chilly – 6

Procedure for cooking Fish Moli

Take the whipped egg separately and grind all other ingredients under (4) together and mix that with the whipped egg. Apply this mixture over the cleaned fish and keep for 15 minutes. Squeeze the coconut, take the first milk and mix that with the cashew nut paste. Heat oil in a pan and fry the ingredients under (5) and take out. Chop the ingredients under (8) and roast them in the remaining oil. Roast the chopped pieces of big onion also. To that oil pour second milk of coconut and salt followed by the fish pieces. On boiling, add the mixture of cashew nut paste in coconut milk and when the curry becomes thick take it out of the stove. Roast the ingredients under (5), add them into the curry and stir.
