How to cook or make Fish Masala (Meen Masala)
Ingredients:
(1) Black fish – 4
(2) Chilly powder – 1 table spoon
(3) Tamarind – as required
(4) Salt – adjust to taste
(5) Big onion – 2
(6) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
Procedure for cooking Fish Masala (Meen Masala)
Clean the black fish and draw lines on that. Grind pieces of big onion
without water. Soak the chilly powder with a little water. Heat coconut
oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds in that. Add the ground big onion
in that and heat. When the oil becomes translucent, add the soaked chilly
powder and heat that without getting charred. Add the black fish in that
and heat. Add tamarind extract, salt and water and stir well. When the
fishes are cooked, add curry leaves and take the curry from the stove.
