Kerala Tamil Egg Masala (Mutta Masala) recipe

How to cook or make Egg Masala (Mutta Masala)

(1) Egg – 4
(2) Big onion – 2
(3) Tomato – 1
(4) Curry leaves – a few
(5) Masala powder – ½ tea spoon
(6) Chilly powder – 1 ½ tea spoon
(7) Coriander seed powder – 1 tea spoon
(8) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(9) Coconut oil, Salt – as required
(10) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon

Procedure for cooking Egg Masala (Mutta Masala)

Cook the egg and remove the shell. Chop the big onion into long pieces. Chop the tomato into small pieces. Grind masala powder, coriander seed powder, chilly powder and turmeric powder together. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. Roast pieces of big onion, tomato and curry leaves in that oil. Add the ground mixture also into that followed by salt and stir well. Finally add the pieces of egg and take the curry from the stove.
