(1) Egg – 4
(2) Cauliflower – 500 grams
(3) Coconut – ½
(4) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(5) Coriander seed powder – 4 tea spoon
(6) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(7) Cinnamon – 1 piece
(8) Pepper – 6
(9) Cardamom – 1
(10) Clove – 2
(11) Green chilly – 4
(12) Salt, water – as required
(13) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
(14) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(15) Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Egg Cauliflower (Mutta Cauliflower)
Cook the egg, remove the shell and cut into small pieces. Pluck small
pieces from the cauliflower and keep them in hot water for 10 minutes.
Then take them out and wash. Heat a pan and roast the coconut in that.
When it becomes light brown add chilly powder, coriander seeds powder,
turmeric powder, cinnamon, cardamom, clove and pepper and heat. Then take
them out and grind nicely. Mix the cauliflower with chopped pieces of
green chilly and salt. Mix the ground mixture of ingredients with a little
water and add that also into the cauliflower curry. Add salt and heat
the curry and when the pieces are well cooked and the liquid part starts
getting thick add the egg pieces also and take the curry out of the stove.
Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. Roast curry leaves
also in that oil and pour them into the cauliflower curry.
