How to cook or make Dry Prawns Curry (Unakka
(1) Dry prawns – 250 grams
(2) Raw mango – 1
Coconut – half part
Green chilly – 3
Chilly powder – ¼ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ¼ tea spoon
Small onion – 4 pellets
(4) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Dry Prawns Curry (Unakka Chemmeen Curry)
Wash thoroughly the dry prawns. Chop the mango into small pieces. Grind
ingredients under (3) together and mix with curry leaves, salt and water.
Add the dry prawns and mango pieces in that and boil. After boiling vigorously,
stop heating and take it out of the stove.
