How to cook or make Drumstick Rasam Muringakka
Rasam
Drumstick Rasam Muringakka Rasam Ingredients:
1) Drumsticks – 4
(2) Tamarind – 50 grams
(3) Turmeric powder – 1/8 tea spoon
(4) Asafoetida powder – 1 pinch
(5) Pepper powder – 1 tea spoon
(6) Coriander seed powder – 1 tea spoon
(7) Red chilly – 3
(8) Gram dhal – 2 tea spoon
(9) Salt – adjust to taste
(10) Oil – 1 table spoon
(11) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(12) Curry leaves – a few
(13) Coriander leaves – a little
(14) Small onion – 2
Procedure for cooking Drumstick Rasam Muringakka Rasam
Scrap out the cream inside the drumsticks, mix with water and turmeric
powder and boil. When the cream is well cooked, squeeze that out and filter.
Mix with tamarind juice. Add asafoetida powder into that. Roast red chilly,
coriander seed, pepper and gram dhal together and grind the mixture and
add that into the drumstick mixture. Add salt and boil the mixture. On
boiling vigorously, add coriander leaves and take the vessel out of the
stove. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds into that to splutter.
Roast curry leaves, round pieces of small onion and pieces of red chilly
in that oil and add that into the drumstick mixture and stir well.
