Drumstick Leaves Erissery Muringayila Erissery Ingredients:
(1) Drumstick leaves – 3 cup
(2) Coconut – half part
(3) Chilly powder – 1 ½ tea spoon
(4) Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
(6) Toor dhal – ¼ cup
(7) Oil – 2 table spoon
(8) Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
(9) Curry leaves – a little
(10) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Procedure for cooking Drumstick Leaves Erissery Muringayila Erissery
Clean the drumstick leaves. Grind coconut, chilly powder, cumin seed and
turmeric powder together. Add toor dhal in water kept in a vessel and
cook the dhal. When a little water is left behind with the dhal add drumstick
leaves and salt, close the vessel and heat. Then add the ground ingredients
also. Heat oil and add mustard seeds to splutter. Add curry leaves and
a little grated coconut, roast them and pour into the curry. Serve hot.
