How to cook or make Drumstick Leaves Curry
Muringayila Mulakooshyam
Ingredients:
(1) Drumstick leaves – 2 cups
(2) Toor dhal – 1 ½ cup
(3) Coconut – half of a coconut
Red chilly – 2
Cumin seeds – ½ tea spoon
(4) Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
(5) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Red chilly – 1
(6) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Drumstick Leaves Curry Muringayila Mulakooshyam
Clean the drumstick leaves, add sufficient water, turmeric powder and
salt and boil. When the leaves are cooked remove the water. Cook the toor
dhal separately. Grind the coconut, red chilly and cumin seeds together
and add the paste over the cooked leaves. Mix the cooked dhal also with
the leaves and boil. Heat oil in a pan and splutter mustard seeds in that
and roast pieces of red chilly also in the same oil. Pour them over the
curry and stir.
