How to cook or make Curd Rice (Thair Saadam)

Curd Rice (Thair Saadam) tamil recipes,pongal etc

(1) Cooked raw rice – 2 cups
(2) Curd (not sour) – ½ cup
(3) Salt– adjust to taste
(4) Green chilly – 2
(5) Ginger – 1 small piece
(6) Red chilly – 2
(7) Mustard seeds – ½ tea spoon
(8) Oil – 1 tea spoon
(9) Asafoetida powder – 1 pinch
(10) Curry leaves – a few

Procedure Curd Rice (Thair Saadam)

Mix rice, curd, salt and asafoetida powder together and stir well. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds to splutter. Roast chopped pieces of ginger and green chilly and cut pieces of red chilly in the same oil. Add all these into the rice and stir well.
