How to cook or make Colacasia Curry (Chembu
(1) Colacasia – 250 grams
(2) Small onion – 20 grams
(3) Green chilly – 8
(4) Ginger – 1 piece
(5) Salt, water – as required
(6) Coconut oil – 1 tea spoon
(7) Curry leaves – a little
Procedure for cooking Colacasia Curry (Chembu Curry)
Remove the skin of colocasia, wash and cut into small pieces. Chop ginger
into small pieces. Smash ginger, green chilly and small onion. Add water
to the colocasia and boil. Smash the cooked colocasia with a big spatula.
Then add the smashed ingredients, curry leaves, salt and a little more
water and boil. When it is about to get thick, stop heating and take the
curry from the stove.
