How to cook or make Coconut Chutney (Thenga
Chammandhi)
Ingredients:
(1) Coconut – half part
(2) Red chilly – 3
(3) Small onion – 5 pellets
(4) Salt – adjust to taste
(5) Curry leaves – a little
(6) Leaves of lemon tree – a few
(7) Tamarind – a little
Procedure for cooking Coconut Chutney (Thenga Chammandhi)
Roast the red chilly in burning fire. Grate the coconut. Grind red chilly
first. Then grind coconut, salt, small onion, tamarind, lemon leaves and
curry leaves one by one separately. Finally mix all the items thoroughly
and make balls with the mixture.
