How to cook or make Chinese Potato Curry
(1) Chinese potato – 500 grams
(2) Salt – adjust to taste
(3) Turmeric powder – 1 pinch
(4) Coconut – half of a coconut
Red chilly – 2
Cumin seed – 1 tea spoon
(5) Coconut oil – 2 tea spoon
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Procedure for making Chinese Potato Curry Koorkka Molakooshyam
Peel the Chinese potato, wash and chop into small pieces. Add sufficient
water, turmeric powder and salt and then boil. When the potato is cooked
remove the water. Grind the coconut, red chilly and cumin seed together,
add the paste over the Chinese potato and boil again and then take out.
Splutter mustard seeds in heated oil and add into the curry.
In order to make this curry tastier, cook a little toor dhal separately
and mix that with the cooked Chinese potato.
