Chinese Potato Aviyal Koorkka Aviyal Ingredients:
(1) Chinese potato – 200 grams (after removing skin)
(2) Coconut – ½
Cumin seed – 1 pinch
Green chilly – 3
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Small onion – 3 pellets
(3) Salt – adjust to taste
(4) Coconut oil – sufficient quantity
(5) Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Chinese Potato Aviyal Koorkka Aviyal
Remove skin of Chinese potato, wash and chop into pieces. Add salt and
water and boil. Grind ingredients under (2) together and add into the
pieces and boil. When the pieces are well cooked, pour a little coconut
oil, add a few curry leaves and take the curry out of the stove.
