How to cook or make Chicken Curry (Kozhi
Irachi Curry)
Ingredients:
(1) Chicken – 1 kg
(2) Chilly powder – 2 table spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Coriander seed powder – 2 table spoon
Masala powder – 1 table spoon
(3) Ginger – 1 piece
Garlic – 5 pellets
Green chilly – 5
Small onion – 100 grams
Big onion – 2
Curry leaves – a few
(4) Oil – ¼ cup
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for making Chicken Curry (Kozhi Irachi Curry)
Wash the chicken and cut into pieces. Heat oil in a vessel and splutter
mustard seeds in that. Then add chopped pieces of ingredients under (3)
into the oil and roast them. Also add chilly powder, turmeric powder,
coriander seed powder and masala powder and roast. Then add chicken pieces,
salt and water and boil. Stir at intervals. When chicken is well cooked
and the soup gets thick take the curry out of the stove.
