Bread Fruit Stir Fry Sheema Chakka Thoran Ingredients:
(1) Raw bread fruit – 1
(2) Coconut – ½ cup
Green chilly – 2
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Garam masala powder – 1 tea spoon
Coriander seed powder – ½ tea spoon
Garlic – 4 pellets
(3) Small onion – 100 grams
(4) Salt – adjust to taste
(5) Coconut oil – 2 table spoon
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Red chilly – 2
Curry leaves – a few
Procedure for cooking Bread Fruit Stir Fry Sheema Chakka Thoran
Remove the skin of bread fruit and cut into small pieces. Chop small onion
also. Smash ingredients under (2). Heat oil in a vessel and add mustard
seeds into that to splutter. Add pieces of red chilly and curry leaves.
Then add the pieces of bread fruit and onion followed by salt and water
and stir well. Add the smashed ingredients at the center of the vessel
and close the vessel with a lid. Then heat the vessel. When the bread
fruit pieces are cooked, open the vessel, stir well and take out.
