How to cook or make Bitter Gourd Vindhalu (Pavakka Vindhalu)

(1) Bitter gourd – 500 grams
(2) Tomato – 500 grams
(3) Big onion -250 grams
(4) Chilly powder – 2 tea spoon
(5) Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
(6) Garlic – 2 pellets
(7) Fenugreek – 1 pinch
(8) Cumin seeds – ¼ tea spoon
(9) Salt, Coconut oil – as required
(10) Vinegar – a little

Procedure for cooking Bitter Gourd Vindhalu (Pavakka Vindhalu)

Chop the bitter gourd into round pieces and remove the seeds. Mix turmeric powder and salt and then fry the bitter gourd pieces and take back. Grind chilly powder, fenugreek, cumin seeds and garlic together. Chop tomato and big onion into long pieces and roast them in oil. Then add the bitter gourd pieces, vinegar, salt and water. Then add the ground ingredients and stir and then boil the curry. After boiling, when it becomes thick, add a little sugar, stir and take from the stove.
