Banana Kaalan Nendrakka Kaalan Ingredients:
(1) Raw banana – 2
(2) Coconut – ¼ cup
Green chilly – 3
Pepper powder – ¼ tea spoon
Turmeric powder – ½ tea spoon
Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
(3) Coconut oil – 1 table spoon
Mustard seeds – 1 tea spoon
Curry leaves – a few
(4) Butter milk (without sour taste) – 1 cup
(5) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Banana Kaalan Nendrakka Kaalan
Peel the raw banana, cut into small pieces and boil with salt and water.
Grind the ingredients under (2) to a fine paste, add that into the banana
pieces and boil. Then pour buttermilk, stir and take out of the stove.
Splutter mustard seeds in heated oil and pour that into the curry and
serve.
