How to cook or make Banana Jaggery Chips
(Nendrakka Sarkara Varatti)
(1) Raw banana – 1
(2) Jaggery – ½ kg
(3) Cardamom powder – 2 tea spoon
(4) Cumin seed powder – ½ tea spoon
(5) Coconut oil – 250 grams
Procedure for cooking Banana Jaggery Chips (Nendrakka Sarkara Varatti)
Chop banana into small pieces and put them in water. Melt jiggery with
a little water. After melting, filter out the water and remove the dirt.
Add cardamom powder and cumin seed powder into that. Fry the banana pieces
in the oil, take out and drop them into the melted jaggery and stir. Keep
them for drying by spreading on a sheet of paper kept on a mat. On drying,
transfer into a tin container.
