Kerala Tamil Baked Fish recipe

How to cook or make Baked Fish

Baked Fish Ingredients:
(1) Fish – 500 grams
(2) Tomato – 2
(3) Big onion chopped into small pieces – ¾ cup
(4) Potato – ½ kg
(5) Pepper powder – ½ tea spoon
(6) Egg – 2
(7) Milk – ½ cup
(8) Maida – 2 table spoon
(9) Butter – 3 table spoon
(10) Salt – adjust to taste

Procedure for cooking Baked Fish

Cook the fish with a few chopped pieces of ginger, salt and vinegar and after cooking take the flesh of the fish separately. Cook the potato, peel its skin and then smash it. Take one table spoon butter, salt and yellow part of egg, mix them thoroughly and make balls with that mixture. Apply ghee on a grease proof paper and place the balls on that paper. Arrange the balls in the shape of a vessel so that there will be a pit at the center. Keep them in the oven at 350 degrees heat for 20 minutes. Heat remaining butter in a vessel and roast the pieces of big onion in the butter. Then add maida into that. Add chopped pieces of tomato and flesh of the cooked fish, stir well and pour milk. Add salt and pepper powder and when the mixture becomes paste like, take it out of the stove. Whip white part of egg, mix that with the fish curry and heat it again in the oven. As soon as top portion becomes reddish, take the curry from the oven and serve hot.
