How to cook or make Anchovy Curry (Netholi
Peera Vattichathu)
Ingredients:
(1) Anchovy fish – 1 kg
(2) Coconut – 1
(3) Ginger – 1 piece
(4) Small onion – 5
(5) Green chilly – 8
(6) Turmeric powder – 1 tea spoon
(7) Tamarind – as required
(8) Salt – adjust to taste
Procedure for cooking Anchovy Curry (Netholi Peera Vattichathu)
Clean the anchovy fish and wash that. Smash coconut, ginger, green chilly,
small onion and curry leaves together. Mix the fish with the smashed ingredients,
salt, tamarind and sufficient water and boil. When the water is dried
pour a little coconut oil and take the curry from the stove.
