Making Vermicelli Bread Kesari (Semiya Roti Kesari)
Ingredients :
(1) Vermicelli – 4 table spoons
(2) Coconut – half
(3) Milk – 2 cups
(4) Bread – 4 slices
(5) Sugar – 5 table spoons
(6) Ghee – 1 table spoon
(7) Dry grapes – 10
(8) Cardamom powder – 1 pinch
Procedure :
Grate the coconut and extract 1st milk. Cut bread and dry grapes into small pieces and fry them in ghee. Roast the vermicelli. Pour milk and coconut milk on vermicelli, dry grapes and bread and keep for 30 minutes.
Add sugar into one spoon of water and heat that. On boiling, add all the mixed ingredients. After boiling when it becomes thick, sprinkle cardamom powder and take out of the stove.
