How to make Puthina Pakkoda at Home

Chilly – Coriander Leaves

Ingredients :

                      (1) Gram dhal flour – 1 cup
                      (2) Rice flour – 1 cup
                      (3) Ghee – 2 table spoon
                      (4) Soda powder – 2 pinches
                      (5) Puthina leaves, Coriander leaves chopped into very small pieces – 2 cups
                      (6) Cashew nuts – 12 Nos.
                      (7) Ginger paste, green chilly paste – 1 tea spoon
                        (8) Chilly powder – ½ tea spoon
                        (9) Cumin seed – ¼ tea spoon
                       (10) Salt, Oil – as required

Procedure :

Sieve rice flour and gram dhal flour. Mix salt and chilly powder in them. Mix ghee with soda powder and with that mix both the flours together, till in becomes a fine paste. Add pieces of puthina leaves, coriander leaves, ginger paste, green chilly paste and cumin seed and mix well. Add pieces of cashew nut also. Take a little quantity of the mixture and fry that in heated oil and take out.
