Pakka Vada making at Home
Ingredients
(1) Gram dhal flour – 2 cups
(2) Asafetida powder – ½ tea spoon
(3) Fennel powder – ½ tea spoon
(4) Chilly powder – 1 tea spoon
(5) Salt, Oil – as required
Procedure
Mix all ingredients together, add salt and water and make it a thick paste. Fill the ‘Murukku Maker’ with the mixture, fit the slit for Pakkavada in that and squeeze out the mixture into boiling oil and fry that. When both sides are crisp, collect back.
