Nutritious Black Gram Vada (Poshaka Uzhunnu Vada)
Ingredients
(1) Black gram dhal – 1 cup
(2) Big onion – 2 (chopped into small pieces)
(3) Ginger – 1 piece (chopped into small pieces)
(4) Green chilly – 3 (chopped into small pieces)
(5) Chopped pieces of carrot – ½ cup
(6) Chopped pieces of beans – ½ cup
(7) Oil, Salt – as required
Procedure
Soak black gram in water for an hour, add salt and grind well. Mix all ingredients except oil together, make small balls with that, take small quantity and press them in your palm, put a hole at the center, fry in heated oil and collect back. Serve hot with chutney as side dish.
